Relocation Industry Background:
        
        Alan Trippel entered the relocation industry in 1976 when he joined the country’s largest relocation service company, Homequity/Homerica (now Cartus). His sixteen year tenure with this company included line and staff management positions in human resources, client relations, customer services, real estate services, marketing, strategic planning and new product development. While at Homequity, Alan developed two industry firsts: a Premarketing Program and a Spouse Assistance Program. His customer service representative teams consistently received high quality service evaluations from transferring employees serving the needs of IBM and General Electric. 
        In the early 1990’s Alan was general manager for Western Relocation, a smaller relocation service company, leading his team of relocation professionals in the eastern region facility.

Publications and Awards in Relocation Industry:
       
        E-R-C: Alan  wrote eight articles for E-R-C, earned his CRP designation in 1991 and received E-R-C’s President’s Award 1989 in recognition of his leadership and contributions to the worldwide relocation profession.
        Mobility Magazine: Alan wrote a series of articles for Mobility, the relocation industry magazine, on benefits of surveys, best practices, quality and outsourcing. The two most recent Mobility articles appeared in the November and December 2005issues.

Professional Background
        
        Earned his MBA from the University of Connecticut in 1979.
        Former Jaycee officer at the local, state and national level.
        Serves as an Adjunct Professor in the MBA program at Sacred Heart University.
        Recently developed an internet curriculum for the Sacred Heart University School of Nursing
            on "Organizational Management".

Personal
        
        Alan is married and has five children, two grandchildren and two golden retrievers. His wife, Pati, is an Interfaith minister and accomplished artist, showing in several galleries in the Hot Springs area. Alan and Pati moved from Connecticut to Arkansas in late 2007. Both are active leaders in their church and in the Hot Springs Village  and Hot Springs communities. Alan is also active in the Hot Springs Village Tennis Club, Bridge Club and is a hiking, cycling enthusiast.
