Relocation Managers Survey Results

        Trippel Survey & Research conducts numerous surveys and research projects each year of corporate managers on supplier performance and other topics suggested by relocation professionals.

        In October, 2011 Trippel Survey & Research conducted the 10th annual Relocation Managers’ Survey on the performance of the suppliers in the relocation management services industry.  A record number of 439 corporate managers participated and the ensuing report shows the performance of suppliers in two segments: large service firms and mid-size service firms (differentiated in this survey by number of survey responses).   Among the five largest service firms Altair Global and Prudential Relocation earned the highest evaluations.  Among the eight mid-size service firms Plus Relocation and NEI Relocation earned the highest evaluations.

        In February, 2011, the 9th  annual web-survey of relocation managers on the Household Goods (HHG) Industry took place. Based on the results of 318 corporate relocation managers, many different carriers earned distinction for noteworthy success based on different attributes. Although 16 firms were ranked on nearly one dozen attributes, two firms distinguished themselves in the opinions of the corporate relocation managers: Budd Van Lines and New World Van Lines.

        In April, 2011, Trippel Survey & Research conducted the 7th annual survey on the performance of suppliers providing global mobility services. Industries  included in the survey include: relocation management companies and firms specializing in the following categories: tax, legal services (immigration and work permits), foreign language, cross-cultural assimilation, shipment of household goods. Although sampling was relatively small with 157 corporate managers participating in most categories in the relocation management services category, Altair Global Relocation earned high scores, followed closely by Sirva Relocation. Eleven attributes were covered in this section of the survey report, and all scores of all providers are reported indicating strengths of various service firms.

        In May 2011, Trippel Survey & Research conducted the ninth annual corporate relocation managers survey on the mortage, spouse-partner-family, and temporary living industries. The results from 231 participating corporate relocation managers indicate the following firms earned high satisfaction scores:

         Relocation Mortgage services: Huntington Mortgage and Premia Relocation Mortgage

         Spouse-Partner-Family services: Vandover

         Temporary Housing services: Suite America and Residence Inns
